Bio

Physical therapist (MSPT, CSCS) and former head physical therapist and assistant strength coach for the New York Mets. Founder of ATHLEAN-X, one of the largest training channels on YouTube, teaching training built on sports medicine rather than bodybuilding folklore.

Protocol

Train like an athlete: progressive strength work with strict form, conditioning kept in year-round, and direct joint care — face pulls in every session for shoulder health, rotator-cuff and scapular work as a habit, mobility before load. Nutrition is fixed-plate consistency: high protein, whole foods, eating the same way in and out of season.

Principles

Longevity in training: perfect reps over heavier sloppy ones, train around pain instead of through it, and take the small muscles that keep joints healthy as seriously as the mirror muscles.

Theragun Prime cuts the noise without losing the punch

The mid-tier percussive massage gun that actually delivers. Five speeds, 120-minute battery, and enough amplitude to handle post-workout knots without the Pro's price tag. The dampener attachment targets tender spots near bone; the standard ball works the whole body. Real-time pressure feedback keeps you from over-grinding. Pairs with the Therabody app's AI Coach for guided recovery routines.

Momentous | Creatine Chews 150-Count

Delicious! Easy to take when on the road or at the gym. Five chews a day gets you to 5g, the dose that's actually been studied. Texture is firm and tart, closer to a Sweet Tart than a gummy. I started taking these on travel weeks when I don't want to pack a shaker. Muscle recovery case is the same evidence behind every creatine product and might be good for the brain too!
