Most RCT evidence focuses on pediatric GH deficiency rather than anti-aging use in healthy adults. Adult studies are smaller and often short-term (weeks to months). Long-term cardiovascular and metabolic safety in non-deficient populations has not been rigorously established. Tachyphylaxis (diminishing response) can occur with prolonged use. Off-label anti-aging use is common but lacks the robust RCT evidence base that supports its use in true GH deficiency.
