Individual ingredients have mechanistic support and some observational or preclinical backing (AKG in aging models, pterostilbene as a resveratrol analog, lithium in neuroprotection), but NOVOS Core as a formulation has not been tested in a randomized controlled trial (RCT) in humans. The evidence for the combination product itself is absent; we can only point to component-level data, which is weaker than whole-product validation. Observational longevity studies do not yet exist for this specific blend.

Mechanism

NOVOS Core is a multi-ingredient formulation containing alpha-ketoglutarate (AKG), pterostilbene, lithium orotate, hyaluronic acid, and other compounds. AKG is proposed to support NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) metabolism and mitochondrial function; pterostilbene is a sirtuin activator; lithium orotate may modulate glycogen synthase kinase-3 (GSK-3) signaling; hyaluronic acid supports extracellular matrix integrity. The combination targets multiple aging pathways simultaneously, though the synergistic effect of these ingredients in humans is not established.
